Instead of wrapping up her season, she found out she had more games ahead. The NBA picked Moyer-Gleich to be a referee for the playoffs, making her only the second woman ever chosen for this role. She joins Violet Palmer, who refereed nine playoff games from 2006 to 2012. "It's surreal," said Moyer-Gleich about the news. She played basketball at Millersville University and became an NBA referee full-time in 2018. She has worked over 200 regular-season games in six seasons.
