Ryan Garcia Plans Return To Boxing In December, Eyes Fight With Jake Paul

This will be his first match since being suspended for a year after testing positive for a banned substance earlier this year. Garcia, known as "King Ry," will face former kickboxing champion Rukiya Anpo. This goes back to their legendary 2015 boxing match, which set records with 4.6 million pay-per-view buys and brought in huge paychecks for both fighters. Mayweather reportedly earned $180 million, while Pacquiao made $120 million. Years after their fight, rumors about a rematch began to swirl. Pacquiao even hinted at it publicly, stepping into a Japanese ring to suggest the match was close. But Mayweather was quick to say Pacquiao's comments were out of line. “He shouldn’t have said my name,” Mayweather told The Pivot Podcast. Manny Pacquiao Urged To Cancel Comeback After Tough Exhibition Fight

Photo: Instagram/Manny Pacquiao Manny Pacquiao is being told to stay retired after a hard exhibition match in Japan.  The only eight-weight world champion fought Japanese kickboxer Rukiya Anpo and struggled, though the match was declared a draw. Pacquiao is considering a full comeback with a fight against Mario Barrios for a WBC world title later in 2024.
