The band said Rose’s anger came from a sound issue, not from new drummer Isaac Carpenter. The group explained that the problem was fixed by the third song and that the rest of the night went well. They also praised Carpenter, calling him “top notch and a great drummer.” Carpenter joined the band after Frank Ferrer left in March following 17 years with the group.
