After being eliminated from Dancing With the Stars  just two days ago, the 38-year-old made a pitch to join the Oklahoma City Thunder. Howard, who last played in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2021-22 season, has been playing in Taiwan’s T1 League . Now, he says he’s ready to return and help the Thunder while star center Chet Holmgren recovers from a hip injury. Holmgren is expected to miss 8-10 weeks. “OKC, ya boy is ready,” Howard said on KG Certified . “Y’all need a big. Y’all need a vet. In January, Newport Beach police announced that Giddey would not face criminal charges as they couldn't find any evidence of criminal activity. The NBA's investigation followed a similar path, with no evidence found to support the allegations.  This investigation started after photos and videos appeared on social media, prompting the NBA to look into the claims.
