This is his second suspension in a row, causing him to miss two and a half years of his career. Abdelwahab (3-0) made a strong debut at UFC 277 in July 2022, winning against Don'Tale Mayes. His first suspension was for two years, ending on July 30. However, he received a new six-month suspension, doubled from three months due to his previous violation. The UFC stated that Abdelwahab submitted a supplement that wasn't third-party tested and certified, which is against their rules. Abdelwahab has not commented on the suspension.
