Edwards claimed that Michael Jordan was the only skilled player from previous eras, a comment that didn’t sit well with Johnson. In an interview with ESPN's Stephen A. Smith , Johnson responded sharply. "I never respond to a guy who's never won a championship," Johnson said. "He didn’t win a college championship. I don't know if he even won a high school championship."
