The Ringer had reported that the Hawks’ front office had been given permission to consider trading Young. While the Hawks had a roster that included Dejounte Murray, they have been one of the most disappointing teams in the league for almost two years. The offense is often one-dimensional, old-school and outdated, with the team taking and making fewer three-pointers than most teams in the league.
