The fight took place on September 14, 2024, and Dvalishvili dominated O’Malley with his strong wrestling skills, earning a unanimous decision win after five rounds. Initially, O’Malley accepted his defeat, much like he did in his earlier losses to Marlon “Chito” Vera in 2020 and Pedro Munhoz in 2022. However, O'Malley has now taken to social media, claiming that after watching the fight again, he believes he won two of the last three rounds.
