Manny Pacquiao Reveals Mayweather's Key Condition For Rematch

Photo: Manny Pacquiao / Instagram   Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather ’s 2015 fight remains one of the biggest boxing matches in history. Fans waited years for the bout, which finally took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather entered as the undefeated WBA and WBC welterweight champion, while Pacquiao held the WBO welterweight title. The fight broke records, selling over 4 million pay-per-views and earning more than $72 million from ticket sales. Mayweather won by unanimous decision, finishing his career undefeated with a 50-0 record when he retired in 2017. Pacquiao, on the other hand, kept fighting for several more years, becoming a world champion twice before losing to Yordenis Ugas in 2021. Now, Pacquiao, who hasn’t officially retired, is eyeing a rematch with Mayweather. This fight followed their first bout, which ended in a chaotic brawl. These fights have not been well received by many boxing fans. Photo: Oscar De La Hoya (Instagram) De La Hoya, known as “The Golden Boy,” is among those who think Mayweather should stop these exhibitions. In a recent video on Instagram, De La Hoya urged Mayweather to retire for good. He mentioned an incident during Mayweather’s fight with Gotti,...

Recently, there was talk of Khabib trying something new: a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather . The idea excited many, especially since such a fight could have earned Khabib a huge payday—up to $100 million. But during an appearance on the "Inspire Me" podcast on August 25, Khabib made it clear that he wasn’t interested. “Right now, no. Right now, you know, it’s like everybody know, I am not a boxer,” he said. Unlike his rival Conor McGregor , who fought Mayweather in 2017 and reportedly earned around $130 million, Khabib isn’t tempted by the money. He pointed out that even though people doubt his striking ability, he has always dominated in the octagon. In 29 MMA fights, includ...

Ryan Garcia Headed To Japan For Super RIZIN 3

Photo: Instagram/Ryan Garcia Ryan Garcia is making headlines again, this time heading to Japan for the big RIZIN Fighting Federation event, Super RIZIN 3, headlined by Manny Pacquiao . Rumors are swirling that Garcia might be considering a fight on New Year's Eve in Japan. The boxing star has had a tumultuous year. After defeating Devin Haney in April, Garcia's win was overturned when the New York State Athletic Commission found a banned substance , Ostarine, in his system. This led to a suspension until April 2025 in North America. Initially, Garcia declared he would compete in the UFC while suspended from boxing. However, the same athletic commissions regulate both sports, preventing him from participating in mixed martial arts. Photo: Instagram/Ryan Garcia Reports now suggest Garcia plans to box in Japan, where there's no major commission to stop him. Garcia and RIZIN FF have confirmed that he will attend the Super RIZIN 3 event at the Saitama Super Arena on July 28th...

Oscar De La Hoya: Prime Pacquiao Would Have Beaten Prime Mayweather Easily

Photo: Instagram/Oscar De La Hoya Oscar De La Hoya has voiced a strong opinion on a hypothetical match-up between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao in their primes. According to De La Hoya, Pacquiao would have won "easily." The real fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao in 2015, known as "The Fight of the Century," saw Mayweather win on points. Both boxers were world champions in multiple weight classes, but many fans felt the fight happened too late in their careers. De La Hoya, who has fought and lost to both Mayweather and Pacquiao, discussed the match-up in an interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer. He believes Pacquiao's rigorous career and tough fights wore him down, giving Mayweather an edge in their actual bout. Photo: Instagram/Oscar De La Hoya “Pacquiao would have beaten him easily. In their prime? Absolutely,” De La Hoya stated. He explained that Pacquiao's more demanding career left him with more wear and tear, while Mayweather's c...
