The dispute is over the Proper No. Twelve whiskey brand , which McGregor co-founded and sold a large portion of last year for over $130 million (€122.8 million). Lobov claims he was promised 5% of the brand for his role in helping create it, but says he never received his share. He alleges McGregor agreed to the deal during a conversation in a Dublin gym in 2016. McGregor denies the agreement and reportedly offered Lobov $1 million (€946,000) to settle, which Lobov rejected.
