Conor McGregor has been out of action since breaking his leg in UFC 264 earlier this year, culminating in a loss to Dustin Poirier in the trilogy.

Since then, however, he has recovered well and has put on a lot of muscle, resulting in a remarkable five-month body transformation.

The Irishman boasts that he now weighs 13 st 5 lb, which means he is 2.5 stone heavier than before his fight with Poirier, where he weighed in at 11 st 1 lb.

With the scores tied at one win each, 'The Notorious' entered with the intention of avenging his defeat to Poirier on Fight Island.

This was their third meeting, but it lasted just one round due to McGregor's serious injury. McGregor's leg was broken, ending the fight abruptly and sending him to the hospital.

Despite his career-threatening injury, he has continued to gain weight in the gym during his recovery, claiming to be '190lbs of granite' at the moment.

Since his fragile leg has not yet fully recovered, he has been focusing on his upper body.

He also seems to be getting ever closer to making a comeback. McGregor is targeting a return next year and aims to be able to spar in five months after the surgery.
