Tom Brady cancels his retirement and returns to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady reversed his decision to retire back in February. After a stunning turn of events, the 44-year-old seven-time Super Bowl champion took to Twitter and announced that he will compete in his 23rd NFL season.

Brady had previously announced he was retiring from football on February 1. Following some thought, he announced on social media on March 13th that he will return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in his 23rd NFL season.

Tom Brady attached two pictures to his Tweet showing the people who helped him make this choice. One photo shows Tom with his Tampa Bay teammates, while the other shows his family wearing matching jerseys and holding hands.

Following the 2020 season and last season's NFC South championship, Brady led the Buccaneers to the Super Bowl. It appears Brady will not retire anytime soon after returning to the field since he said time is "not now" and he still has some "unfinished business." He also approprately ended his tweet with "LFG," let's f*cking go indeed.
