Russell Westbrook Expected To Make Clippers Debut In Starting Lineup,Terance Mann To Rejoin Second Unit

Russell Westbrook is expected to replace Terance Mann in the starting lineup for the Los Angeles Clippers, according to The Athletic's Law Murray.

Mann is expected to rejoin the second unit. Westbrook will make his debut for the team on Friday against the Sacramento Kings after being bought out by the Utah Jazz and joining the Clippers.

Westbrook had been a starter for most of his career, but after three losses with the Lakers, he was moved to the bench and became the favorite to win the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year award.

However, his fit with the Lakers grew problematic, and LeBron James wanted Westbrook to be traded for Kyrie Irving.

Mann has been a nominal starting point guard for the Clippers for the past month or so, and the team has been excellent since adding him to the starting lineup.

When he, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, Marcus Morris, and Ivica Zubac started games, the Clippers went 7-3.

Starting Mann provided athleticism and rim pressure without compromising the team's defense or spacing.

Westbrook's addition will now create a problem for the Clippers to solve, as they will be starting two non-shooters.

The Clippers are betting on Westbrook's talent and hoping that it will win out.

Westbrook is a former MVP joining a roster that makes more sense for him than the Lakers did.

It remains to be seen if the promises made to convince Westbrook to join the team were in the best interests of their championship pursuit.

During the bout, Gaethje landed heavy punches and kicks that Khabib admitted were painful. “He hit like a truck,” Khabib said on Mike Tyson ’s Hotboxin' podcast. “His left hook, right hook, uppercut—they all hurt. But I made him hit me because I knew he didn’t like wrestling. My plan was to tire him out by standing with him, then take him to the ground and finish the fight.” Photo: Khabib Nurmagomedov / Instagram Khabib ended the fight with a triangle choke submission. He explained he chose the move out of respect for Gaethje’s parents, who were watching. “I didn’t want to break his arm in front of his parents,” Khabib said. “So I put him to sleep instead.
