Isiah Thomas Claims Top Western Conference Teams Should "Fear" LeBron James And The Resurgent Lakers

NBA TV analyst Isiah Thomas believes that the top seven teams in the Western Conference should "fear" the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James.

The Lakers have made significant improvements since trading Russell Westbrook for D'Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Malik Beasley.

The team has climbed to eighth place in the Western Conference standings, and their recent play has been impressive.

Thomas points out that none of the top seven teams would be excited to play against the Lakers in the first round of the playoffs.

ESPN analyst Jay Williams is also optimistic about the Lakers' chances of winning a championship this season.

Since the new additions to the roster, the Lakers have posted a 13-7 record and have been one of the best defensive teams in the league.

This is a significant improvement from last season when the team struggled defensively and lacked depth.

LeBron James missed several games due to injury during the Lakers' recent winning streak, making their record even more impressive.

The Lakers' general manager, Rob Pelinka, has been praised for his efforts in revamping the team's roster and adding talented players despite a lack of trade assets.

While there are key free agents to retain, such as Russell, Austin Reaves, Dennis Schroder, and Rui Hachimura, the Lakers could have a championship window as long as LeBron James continues to play at a high level.

Even if they don't win it all this season, the Lakers could be even stronger next season with their improved roster. The Lakers are suddenly a deep and well-balanced team that no one wants to face in the playoffs.

During the bout, Gaethje landed heavy punches and kicks that Khabib admitted were painful. “He hit like a truck,” Khabib said on Mike Tyson ’s Hotboxin' podcast. “His left hook, right hook, uppercut—they all hurt. But I made him hit me because I knew he didn’t like wrestling. My plan was to tire him out by standing with him, then take him to the ground and finish the fight.” Photo: Khabib Nurmagomedov / Instagram Khabib ended the fight with a triangle choke submission. He explained he chose the move out of respect for Gaethje’s parents, who were watching. “I didn’t want to break his arm in front of his parents,” Khabib said. “So I put him to sleep instead.
