D'Angelo Russell Admits Need For More Chemistry With Anthony Davis As Lakers Aim For Playoff Success

D’Angelo Russell, the Los Angeles Lakers' point guard, has admitted that he and Anthony Davis are still building chemistry with each other.

Although Russell has been a valuable addition to the team, injuries have kept him out of a few games and hindered the development of their pick-and-roll plays.

Russell acknowledged that LeBron James is a player who is easy to play with, thanks to his excellent passing skills, while Davis is someone he needs to develop a better understanding with.

Russell's pick-and-roll ability, combined with Davis' versatility, makes them one of the best pairings in the league.

Davis can score as a roller or pop out for mid-range jumpers, while Russell is a strong finisher at the rim and a capable shooter.

Davis stressed the importance of winning their upcoming Play-In Game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, not only to secure a spot in the playoffs but also to get some much-needed rest before facing the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round.

The Lakers have dealt with multiple injuries this season, and extra time off would be beneficial to their playoff run.

Russell expressed his admiration for his high-level teammates and how playing with them has helped him learn something new every time.

He added that players like James and Davis have a strong voice that holds a lot of value and weight, and he has not been around many players like that in his career.

While Russell and Davis have had their moments together, their chemistry is not yet in sync.

However, coming together in the playoffs could give the Lakers another dynamic to challenge opposing teams.
