Florida Judge Orders Arrest of NFL Star Antonio Brown Over Unpaid Child Support

Antonio Brown, a retired NFL wideout, has been ordered by a Miami-Dade County judge to be arrested over unpaid child support of up to $33,260.58, despite the former footballer claiming to have paid the sum in full on social media last Friday.

Court documents obtained by TMZ Sports suggest that Brown had allegedly evaded payments that he was supposed to send to his ex-partner, Wiltrice Jackson.

On his Instagram page, the 2021 Super Bowl champion shared a photo of a receipt showing that he had paid the five-figure sum to Florida Child Support.

Brown captioned his post with the words "Everyone wants to see me fail, that's why I have to be Great!!!" The Broward County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that they have received the order.

However, TMZ reports that there is a clause in the order that Brown can be released from custody if he pays $30,000, which will be applied to his legal case.

Brown has played for several NFL teams including the Buccaneers, Patriots, Raiders and Steelers.

The judge's order to arrest Brown was issued on April 14, following his alleged failure to make the child support payments.

Brown is a seven-time Pro-Bowler and has a large social media following.

He has been involved in several controversies both on and off the field.
