Kyle Anderson Ready To Move On From Rudy Gobert Fight Despite 'Lame' Reactions

Kyle Anderson, a forward for the Minnesota Timberwolves, is ready to put his recent fight with Rudy Gobert behind him.

Anderson believes that the reactions to their altercation have been “kind of lame.” 

During the regular season finale between the Timberwolves and the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday, Gobert punched Anderson during a timeout, which led to a larger altercation and their separation.

The two players then continued to exchange words in the locker room during halftime, and Gobert was ultimately sent home from the arena by the Timberwolves.

Unfortunately, Minnesota also faced another issue during the same game. Forward Jaden McDaniels fractured his hand after punching a wall in the tunnel on his way to the locker room during halftime.

McDaniels is now out indefinitely due to his injury. Gobert has since apologized for his actions towards Anderson, and the Timberwolves suspended him for their play-in game on Tuesday at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Despite the apologies and disciplinary actions, Anderson appears ready to move on from the incident.

Anderson’s comments may suggest that he feels the incident has been overblown, or that the media and public response to the altercation has been excessive.

It is unclear what specifically Anderson considers to be “kind of lame” about the reactions to the fight. 

Regardless, it seems that Anderson and the Timberwolves are now focused on their upcoming games and putting this incident behind them.
