Former Lakers player Lamar Odom has offered assistance to Bam Margera, who recently turned himself in to authorities after being on the run for several days.
Margera has struggled with substance abuse issues for a number of years, and Odom believes that a relationship with Jesus Christ could help him, but only if he truly wants to get help.
Odom, who has overcome his own battles with substance abuse, now operates three drug treatment centers in California called Odom Wellness Treatment Centers, and has offered to assist Margera free of charge.

In an interview with TMZ, Odom expressed his willingness to help Margera, stating that if he wants the help, then it is available to him.
He also shared a message of support, telling Margera to stay strong and expressing his love for him.
Margera is currently facing criminal charges after allegedly assaulting his brother and making terroristic threats to other relatives.
He was released on $50,000 bail after pleading not guilty. Odom's offer of help comes from his own personal experiences, having battled substance abuse himself.
He believes that Margera could benefit from the same treatment programs that he has established at his Odom Wellness Treatment Centers.
However, Odom stresses that Margera must be willing to accept help and take the necessary steps to overcome his addiction.
Margera's lawyer, Michael van der Veen, has said that the "real facts" will come out in due course. If Margera does decide to seek help, he will have a willing ally in Lamar Odom.
