Jayson Tatum's tribute to Kevin Garnett in Game 7 not only energized Celtics fans but also caught the attention of the NBA Hall of Famer himself.

Prior to Boston's crucial matchup against the Heat in the Eastern Conference finals, Tatum arrived at TD Garden wearing a jacket inspired by Garnett, featuring the iconic quote, "Anything is possible," from the 2008 NBA Finals.

This gesture served as both a nostalgic nod to a memorable Celtics moment and a motivational message to the team and the city of Boston, who were hoping to defy the odds and overcome a 3-0 playoff deficit.

The video of Tatum's pregame attire quickly went viral, prompting Garnett to respond in his own unique way.

The former Celtics star took to Twitter, expressing his appreciation for the tribute and urging Tatum to leave everything on the court in Game 7.

Garnett's tweet, filled with admiration and encouragement, read, "[Salute emoji] @jaytatum0! Appreciate you, now go do game 7 s--- killa!"

Having spent six seasons with the Celtics during his illustrious 22-year NBA career, Garnett understands the significance of making history in front of the home fans.

He also recognizes Tatum's ability to rise to the occasion in a critical Game 7, just as he did with his outstanding 51-point performance against the 76ers in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

With Garnett's famous words providing an extra dose of motivation, it is certain that Tatum will approach the game with an intensified competitive drive.

As Boston aims to defy expectations and secure a spot in the NBA Finals for the second consecutive year, Tatum will be fueled by the support and encouragement of the Celtics legend.
