Tom Brady has denied rumors that he is considering backing out of his broadcasting contract with FOX.

The retired NFL star's deal with the network is reportedly worth $375 million over 10 years.

The original report suggesting Brady may be exploring other options came from New York Post reporter Andrew Marchand, who said that he spoke to people close to Brady who told him the deal may not come to fruition after all.

However, Brady caught wind of the headline while on Instagram and quickly denied the rumors in a comment on Sports Illustrated's post on the news, saying "FakeNews."

Brady's comment should certainly put the rumors to rest. The quarterback previously announced his broadcasting plans in May 2022, sharing at the time that he was "excited" about the opportunity, but assured he had "a lot of unfinished business on the field with the Buccaneers."

His retirement from the league is the first step in his latest journey toward the booth. This February, he announced that he was retiring "for good" from the NFL after 23 seasons.

Brady thanked his fans and supporters in a video posted to social media, saying that he wouldn't change a thing. His deal with FOX is reportedly one of the biggest in sports broadcasting history.

It is not yet clear what the terms of the deal entail, but it is believed that Brady will be involved in both pre-game and post-game coverage, as well as contributing to other shows and events on the network.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion is widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, having won more Super Bowls than any other player in NFL history.

His move into broadcasting is highly anticipated by fans and analysts alike.
