Spurs' highly anticipated draft pick, Victor Wembanyama, has finally put an end to the speculation surrounding his true height.

The official measurement, confirmed by the Spurs on Wednesday, reveals that the Frenchman stands at an impressive 7 feet, 3 1/2 inches tall without shoes.

This measurement is slightly shorter than the figure previously listed by the NBA, but it surpasses the 7 feet, 3 1/4 inches he was measured at in October during his time playing exhibition games with Metropolitans 92 in Las Vegas.

As the 2023-24 season approaches, Wembanyama will hold the distinction of being the league's second tallest player, trailing only behind the towering 7-foot-4-inch Clippers center, Boban Marjanović.

The young rookie is set to make his debut in the Spurs' Summer League on July 7th, where he will face off against the Hornets, featuring the second overall pick, Brandon Miller.

Joining the Spurs, Wembanyama enters a team that endured a challenging season with a disappointing 22-60 record, marking the franchise's worst performance since 1997.

However, the arrival of the French phenom brings a wave of anticipation and excitement for fans, as they hope he can contribute to the team's revival and future success.

With his exceptional height and skills, Wembanyama has the potential to make a significant impact on the court and become a key asset for the Spurs in their quest for improvement.

He explained he chose the move out of respect for Gaethje’s parents, who were watching. “I didn’t want to break his arm in front of his parents,” Khabib said. “So I put him to sleep instead.
