Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams has tragically passed away at the age of 36, as reported by Spectrum News in Buffalo.
The unfortunate incident occurred while he was working at a construction site and sustained injuries in an accident. Williams, originally from Buffalo, had a promising career that began during his college days at Syracuse University.
As a true freshman in 2006, Williams showcased his talent by leading the team with 461 receiving yards. His skills earned him recognition as an all-Big East selection in the following season. However, he faced a setback in 2008 when he was suspended for academic reasons.

Unfortunately, his career took a downturn as he played only six games that year and was eventually traded to his hometown team, the Buffalo Bills, where he spent a single season.
