76ers Agree To Trade James Harden To Clippers, Sources Say

In a major NBA trade development, the Philadelphia 76ers have reached an agreement to send star guard James Harden to the LA Clippers, according to sources close to the situation, as reported by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Harden, 34, had requested a trade back in June when he opted into his $35.6 million player option for the 2023-24 season. Tensions had escalated between Harden and 76ers' president of basketball operations Daryl Morey, with Harden publicly expressing his frustration in August.

Notably, Harden had not seen any playing time with Philadelphia this season, but he was present on the bench during a recent game. He is expected to participate in Tuesday's practice at the team's facility in Camden, New Jersey.

Harden, a 10-time All-Star, has been a dominant force in the league for the past decade, boasting three scoring titles and the 2018 league MVP award. Last season, he led the league in assists.

This trade fulfills Harden's desire to join the Clippers, reuniting him with his former teammate Russell Westbrook. The move is set to shake up the NBA landscape, with fans eagerly anticipating the impact of this high-profile transfer.
