Trevor Lawrence Stuns With Career-Best Rushing Performance Despite Knee Injury

In a surprising turn of events, Trevor Lawrence, the Jacksonville Jaguars' star quarterback, delivered a jaw-dropping rushing performance in Thursday's game against the New Orleans Saints, despite battling a troublesome knee injury all week.

Lawrence's knee injury had been a major concern leading up to the game, with many speculating whether he would be able to play at all. However, once the game started, Lawrence defied expectations and put on the best rushing display of his career.

"I surprised even myself with how well I was able to run on a braced-up knee that had been bothering me all week," Lawrence admitted.

His final stat line showed 8 carries for 59 yards, but when excluding three kneeldowns for -4 yards at the end of the game, Lawrence's actual rushing performance stood at an outstanding 5 carries for 63 yards.

Lawrence confessed, "That wasn't the plan, but instincts took over, and I'm glad it was able to hold up, and I was able to make those plays. It just kind of presented itself, and I took advantage of it."

Despite the impressive performance, Lawrence acknowledged that his knee might still cause some pain, but it's clear that it isn't holding him back. With 10 days to heal up, he's set to continue making strides in the NFL.
