Conor McGregor Expresses Frustration With UFC, Targets Boxing Showdown With Manny Pacquiao

In a bold move, Conor McGregor has set his sights on a boxing clash with eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao, expressing growing frustration with the UFC over delays in his return to the cage. 

McGregor, absent since his TKO loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021, accuses the MMA organization of hindering his comeback.

Highlighting Saudi interest in lucrative matchups, McGregor reveals discussions about a potential bout with Pacquiao, citing the recent Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou crossover event as an example.

However, McGregor acknowledges the need for UFC permission to pursue this venture.

Attending the 'Day of Reckoning' event in Riyadh, McGregor voiced his impatience, stating, "I'm supposed to be back in April. It was supposed to be December! For all the figures I've brought in this game, I sell more than all of them combined."

In a direct message to Pacquiao, McGregor challenges him to step up, saying, "Tell Manny to grow a set of balls and fight me at a higher weight class. Why not? It's his sport." McGregor reflects on his 2017 boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather, emphasizing the financial success of the event.
