James Harden Achieves Milestones In Record-Setting NBA Game

In a historic matchup between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night, James Harden etched his name in NBA history. 

Playing in his 1,026th career game, Harden has now tied with Grant Hill and Reggie Theus for 132nd on the all-time regular season games played list.

Surpassing Lenny Wilkens, Harden secured the 16th spot on the NBA's all-time assists list.

With 7,376 assists, he eyes the next milestone, aiming to surpass Maurice Cheeks (7,392).

Harden's impressive statistics this season include averages of 17.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 7.7 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. 


Shooting at 47.0% from the field and 43.4% from beyond the arc in 25 games, he continues to be a vital asset for his team.

The Clippers, currently holding the fourth seed in the Western Conference with an 18-12 record, will host the Miami Heat after facing the Grizzlies.


As a third pick in the 2009 NBA Draft and now in his 15th season, James Harden has enjoyed a storied career, earning ten NBA All-Star selections and claiming the 2018 MVP Award. 


With previous stints with the Brooklyn Nets, Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers, and Oklahoma City Thunder, Harden's legacy in the league remains undeniable. (Source: Sports Illustrated)
