During the Hawks-Warriors game at the Chase Center in California, Steph Curry etched his name in NBA history in a thrilling face-off.

The Golden State Warriors' sharpshooter played his 920th career game, moving ahead of Serge Ibaka and Robert Reid, and tying Larry Nance for the 234th spot on the NBA's all-time regular season games played list.

As Curry surpasses Larry Nance, his next targets on the list are Richard Hamilton and Dick Van Arsdale, both at 921 games. Despite turning 36 later this year, Curry continues to showcase why he's among the top ten players globally.

With impressive averages of 26.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game, Curry maintains his shooting prowess at 44.6% from the field and 39.7% from beyond the arc in 37 games this season.

However, the Warriors are grappling with a challenging start to the 2023-24 season, currently holding the 12th seed in the Western Conference with an 18-22 record in their first 40 games. The team, 3-7 in their last ten matches, faces a two-game losing streak.

Following the clash with the Hawks, the Warriors brace for a showdown against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday evening in San Francisco. At the Chase Center, they have maintained a balanced record, going 11-11 in 22 games.

Despite the team's recent struggles, Curry, the seventh pick in the 2009 NBA Draft out of Davidson, remains a stalwart for the franchise. In his 15th season, all with the Golden State Warriors, he has led them to six NBA Finals, securing four titles since the 2015 season. (Source: Sports Illustrated)

During the bout, Gaethje landed heavy punches and kicks that Khabib admitted were painful. “He hit like a truck,” Khabib said on Mike Tyson ’s Hotboxin' podcast. “His left hook, right hook, uppercut—they all hurt. But I made him hit me because I knew he didn’t like wrestling. My plan was to tire him out by standing with him, then take him to the ground and finish the fight.” Photo: Khabib Nurmagomedov / Instagram Khabib ended the fight with a triangle choke submission. He explained he chose the move out of respect for Gaethje’s parents, who were watching. “I didn’t want to break his arm in front of his parents,” Khabib said. “So I put him to sleep instead.
