LeBron James Unleashes 21-Point Fourth-Quarter Fury, Leading Lakers To Stunning Comeback Victory Over Clippers

In a display of sheer dominance over Father Time, LeBron James outscored the Clippers single-handedly with 19 points, including five crucial 3-pointers and four assists.

The Lakers erased a daunting 21-point deficit, leaving their crosstown rivals stunned. Despite the Clippers' initial lead, defensive lapses and strategic errors allowed James to exploit matchups, ultimately sealing the victory.

The absence of All-Star Paul George further weakened the Clippers' defense, enabling James to take control of the game.

Reflecting on the win, James emphasized the team's resilience, stating to ESPN, "The game is not ever over until it's double zeroes. We just kept fighting, kept getting defensive stops, made some shots."

This marks the third consecutive comeback victory for the Lakers against the Clippers, leaving the latter questioning their ability to secure leads against James.

The Clippers, now with an 11-7 record against James since his Lakers tenure, face uncertainty as they move on from Crypto.com Arena.

With Wednesday's win, the Lakers delivered a memorable blow to the Clippers, who won't have another regular-season matchup.

If they don't meet in the postseason, this comeback victory becomes a defining moment in the Lakers-Clippers rivalry at Crypto.com Arena, serving as the Clippers' last "home" game against the Lakers before their move to the new Intuit Dome next season. (Source: Yahoo Sports)

During the bout, Gaethje landed heavy punches and kicks that Khabib admitted were painful. “He hit like a truck,” Khabib said on Mike Tyson ’s Hotboxin' podcast. “His left hook, right hook, uppercut—they all hurt. But I made him hit me because I knew he didn’t like wrestling. My plan was to tire him out by standing with him, then take him to the ground and finish the fight.” Photo: Khabib Nurmagomedov / Instagram Khabib ended the fight with a triangle choke submission. He explained he chose the move out of respect for Gaethje’s parents, who were watching. “I didn’t want to break his arm in front of his parents,” Khabib said. “So I put him to sleep instead.
