Anthony Joshua Dominates Francis Ngannou In Riyadh Showdown

In a stunning display of power, Anthony Joshua secured a decisive victory over Francis Ngannou with a brutal second-round knockout at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Friday night.

The British boxer seized control in the opening round, delivering a clean right hand that sent Ngannou to the canvas.

Undeterred, Ngannou managed to rise, but Joshua wasted no time in the second round, unleashing a crushing right hand that once again floored the former UFC champion, ultimately ending the fight.

Having rebounded from back-to-back losses to Oleksandr Usyk, Joshua's triumph positions him as a formidable contender for a world title. Promoter Eddie Hearn expressed confidence in Joshua's future, hinting at a potential bout with Tyson Fury.

"If we get through Friday, which may be our toughest challenge, he's going to do it all," said Hearn. "He'll beat Fury and knock him out."



With Joshua's victory, attention now turns to a potential clash with Tyson Fury, who is scheduled to face Usyk in May. The heavyweight division awaits a potential epic showdown between these two titans.

Meanwhile, the future in boxing for Francis Ngannou remains uncertain, with an upcoming MMA bout against Renan "Problema" Ferreira on the horizon.
