Luka Doncic Waves Goodbye To Sacramento Kings Ex-GM After Big Win: 'He Should've Drafted Me!'

After a hard-fought 107-103 victory over the Sacramento Kings, Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks couldn't resist a parting shot at the former Kings GM who passed on him during the 2018 NBA Draft. 

As Doncic sealed the win with a clutch free throw, he was seen waving goodbye to Vlade Divac, who was sitting courtside, while remarking, "he should've drafted me." 

This gesture underscores Doncic's ongoing mission to prove his worth to the teams that overlooked him in the draft.

The win not only solidified the Mavericks' position in the Western Conference standings but also showcased Doncic's prowess on the court, despite a less-than-perfect performance in the first half. 

With 26 points, nine rebounds, and 12 assists, Doncic's impact was undeniable, further fueling speculation about his potential MVP candidacy.


With the Mavericks on a hot streak, winning 10 of their last 11 games, Doncic's stellar performances have propelled his team up the standings, raising questions about his MVP candidacy. 

As the Mavericks prepare for their next challenge against the Houston Rockets, who are riding an 11-game winning streak, all eyes will be on Doncic to deliver another statement performance.
