Dejounte Murray's Buzzer-Beater Lifts Atlanta Hawks Over Boston Celtics In Thrilling Overtime Victory

Dejounte Murray emerged as the hero for the Atlanta Hawks, sinking a clutch shot in the final second of overtime to secure a heart-stopping 123-122 triumph over the Boston Celtics. 

The 27-year-old point guard showcased his brilliance by notching a career-high 44 points, including all 11 crucial points for the Hawks during the overtime period. 

This victory marks the Hawks' second consecutive win over the Celtics, following their remarkable comeback from a 30-point deficit in their previous encounter.

Despite Boston's status as the top seed in the Eastern Conference, Murray emphasized the Hawks' resilience, proclaiming, "That's the best team in the league - we competed."

The Celtics, undeterred by the back-to-back losses, remain poised for the upcoming season-ending playoffs. 


In other NBA action, the New Orleans Pelicans celebrated a gritty 107-100 win against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Smoothie King Center. 

Zion Williamson led the charge with 28 points, supported by CJ McCollum's 25-point contribution, as they overcame Giannis Antetokounmpo's impressive 35-point performance for the Bucks. 

Pelicans coach Willie Green commended Williamson's leadership, describing the victory as a testament to the team's determination and defensive prowess.
