Rich Paul Predicts LeBron James To Play 2-3 More Seasons In NBA

Lakers superstar LeBron James is inching closer to the end of his 21st NBA season, prompting speculation about his retirement plans.

Despite contemplating retirement after last season's Western Conference Finals loss, James returned for another year and maintained an All-NBA level performance, even achieving a career-high from the 3-point line.

With his son Bronny potentially entering the NBA, there's talk that James may not hang up his jersey after the 2023-24 season.

In an interview with SiriusXM NBA Radio, James' agent and close friend Rich Paul indicated that James is likely to play next season, with possibly two to three more seasons left in him.

Paul emphasized James' commitment to basketball and urged him to enjoy the remaining years of his career. As the Lakers' season wraps up, the focus will shift to James' decision for the 2024-25 season.

While he has the option to explore free agency, indications suggest he prefers to remain a Laker, especially considering his ties to Los Angeles and his successful partnership with Anthony Davis.

Speaking of Davis, James recently praised his teammate, stating that Davis has nothing left to prove, which could further solidify James' desire to continue with the Lakers beyond this season.
