Bronny James Narrowing NBA Options: Eyes Lakers And Suns Amid Draft Doubts

Bronny James, son of basketball legend LeBron James, is making waves as he eyes two NBA teams despite facing criticism from scouts

Despite doubts about his NBA potential, Bronny has reportedly declined nearly 10 pre-draft workouts, with only two teams left on his radar: his father's Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns.

Scouts have been critical of Bronny's abilities, citing his limited college performance and doubts about his NBA readiness. Despite this, Bronny's interest in the NBA remains high, with reports indicating that he will work out for the Lakers and the Suns.

The Lakers, who own the 17th pick in the draft, are reportedly considering selecting Bronny, possibly to keep LeBron James with the team.

LeBron has a player option deadline shortly after the draft, and while he has expressed a desire to play with his son, recent reports suggest his focus is on Bronny's development rather than playing alongside him.

Bronny's agent, Rich Paul, hinted at the possibility of exploring options beyond the draft, indicating that they will evaluate the situation and make the best decision.

If Bronny opts out of the draft, he could potentially sign a lucrative deal with the Lakers, setting the stage for an intriguing chapter in the James family's basketball legacy.
