The Dallas Mavericks had some fun at Travis Kelce's expense during Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kelce, sitting courtside with Kansas City Chiefs teammates Patrick Mahomes and Hollywood Brown, received a frosty reception from the American Airlines Center crowd.

When the Jumbotron showed Kelce, fans immediately booed. Kelce appeared surprised by the reaction. In contrast, the crowd cheered loudly for Mahomes, a Texas native, when he was shown on the screen.
Mahomes encouraged the cheers by standing up and interacting with the crowd.

The Mavericks’ social media team joined in on the fun, trolling Kelce with a playful post on X: "Our guy Pat and @taylorswift13’s boyfriend in the house!" This was a nod to Kelce’s high-profile relationship with singer Taylor Swift, which has been a hot topic throughout the NFL season.

Despite some backlash over the media attention on Kelce and Swift’s relationship, Dallas fans didn’t hold back their boos.

Meanwhile, Mahomes, born in Tyler, Texas, received a warm welcome. The game ended with the Mavericks winning 116-107, thanks to stellar performances by Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving

As the Mavericks aim to secure their spot in the NBA Finals, Kelce and Mahomes will continue their offseason training, preparing for another Super Bowl run with the Chiefs.
