Alex Pereira believes Jon Jones will come out on top in his next fight. The reigning heavyweight champion recently defended his title by knocking out Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 on November 16. After the win, Jones hinted at wanting to fight Pereira, but UFC President Dana White confirmed his next fight will be a unification bout with interim heavyweight champ Tom Aspinall.
Now, Pereira has publicly shared his prediction, backing Jones to win the highly anticipated showdown.
Speaking with TNT Sports at UFC 310 in Las Vegas, Pereira praised Jones' experience as the deciding factor.

"I think Jon Jones has a lot of experience on his side," Pereira said. "Some people say, ‘Aspinall this, Aspinall that,’ but it comes down to experience. Jon Jones is a seasoned guy, he’s been there, so I think he wins.”
Tom Aspinall, who won the interim title at UFC 295, is eager to face Jones and is confident the fight will happen. In an interview with Bloody Elbow, he shared updates on the ongoing negotiations.
“I’m very confident that it’s going to happen,” Aspinall said. “I’ve had conversations with the higher-ups in the UFC, and they are also very confident. I don’t know from Jon’s side, but from my side and the UFC’s side, it’s very likely.”
Fans are already debating the outcome of this potential clash, which is expected to take place in 2025. Source
