Father-Son NBA Jerseys Sell For $102K at Auction

LeBron and Bronny James made history as the first father-son duo in NBA history, and now their Opening Night jerseys have sold for $102,000 at a Sotheby’s auction. 

The sale price might seem modest for such a unique piece of sports history—if you're a multi-millionaire, that is. LeBron’s jersey, worn in the Lakers' season opener and two preseason games, also made an appearance on Media Day. 

Meanwhile, Bronny’s jersey has a twist. While Sotheby’s says it was worn during the second half of the game against Minnesota, photos suggest he never left his warmups. However, it was confirmed he wore it during Media Day and other preseason events.

The jerseys mark a significant moment: LeBron, at 39, sharing the court with his son in an NBA game. For Bronny, it was a special comeback after recovering from cardiac arrest just a year ago.
