LeBron James added another achievement to his legendary NBA career on Wednesday night. While the Los Angeles Lakers suffered a tough 134-93 loss to the Miami Heat, James reached a major milestone by climbing to seventh on the all-time three-pointers made list.
In the third quarter, James hit his only three-pointer of the game, bringing his career total to 2,451 and passing former All-Star Kyle Korver. The NBA congratulated James with an announcement on social media, saying, "Congrats to LeBron James of the Lakers for moving into 7th on the all-time THREES MADE list!"
Fans praised LeBron for his accomplishment. One wrote, "This shows how he's adapted his game over the years. Congrats to the King!" Others joked about how far LeBron is from catching Steph Curry, the league's all-time leader with 3,814 three-pointers.

Despite his personal success, the Lakers continue to struggle. This loss, their largest of the season, dropped them to a 12-10 record and ninth place in the Western Conference. Even with James scoring 29 points on an efficient 12-of-18 shooting and adding five rebounds and eight assists, it wasn’t enough to overcome the Heat’s dominance.
