Tobias Forge, frontman of Ghost, recently spoke about fans asking the band to change their setlist every night.
In an interview with HardDrive, Forge said this request is “insane” and goes against how Ghost operates on tour.
He explained that many fans in different cities have not yet seen the current show, so the band wants to keep the production the same for everyone.
Forge said changing everything each night would be impossible since their concerts involve complex lights, visuals, and stage setups.
To keep things fresh, Ghost added rotating song slots that change every show, so no two nights are exactly alike.
Forge said this helps both fans and the band enjoy the show more.
“It keeps everyone on their toes,” he shared, adding that it makes each performance fun and surprising for the group.
Ghost’s ongoing “Skeletour” World Tour highlights songs from their new album Skeleta and features new frontman Papa V Perpetua.

The band also enforces a no-phone rule to help fans stay focused on the live experience.
Forge said this setup creates a stronger connection between the band and the crowd, proving that Ghost values a full, powerful show over constant setlist changes.
