Two METALLICA fans were arrested after climbing a tower inside Optus Stadium during the band’s concert in Perth, Australia, on November 1.
Police said the 20-year-old from Carey Park and 23-year-old from Australind were charged with trespassing after the stunt.
Videos from 10 News showed the shirtless men being told by police to come down before they were arrested and taken out of the venue.
A police spokesperson said it will be alleged the men climbed the central tower during the show.
Over 60,000 fans attended the concert, marking METALLICA’s first show in Australia in more than 10 years.
The band’s Australian tour continues in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney before heading to Auckland, New Zealand.
METALLICA’s last visit to Australia was for the Soundwave Festival in 2013.
The shows are part of the band’s “M72” world tour, named after their 2023 album 72 Seasons.
