Former I PREVAIL singer Brian Burkheiser has released a cover of Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” under his new project, SCATTERBRAIN.
The song marks his first release since leaving I PREVAIL in May.
Burkheiser said the cover means a lot to him and is a reminder of what first inspired his career.
He also shared that he’s still working on releasing his own original music soon.
Earlier this year, Burkheiser said a dispute with his former band had stopped him from putting out new songs, including one called “Phases.”
The singer thanked his fans for standing by him through the challenges.
Burkheiser, who handled clean vocals in I PREVAIL since 2013, stepped back from touring due to health issues before the split.
Despite the fallout, he expressed love for his former bandmates and encouraged fans to support I PREVAIL’s ongoing “Summer Of Loud” tour.
