Clippers Dominate Lakers In Battle of LA With Westbrook Taunting James

In a dominating performance, Russell Westbrook and the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 125-118 in the Battle of LA on Wednesday.

Although the Lakers made a late push to narrow the gap, the Clippers had a double-digit lead for most of the game.

LeBron James struggled in the first half with only three points, but he finished with 33 points thanks to a late surge.

Westbrook was particularly pleased with the result as he was able to win against his former team and strengthen the Clippers' hold on a top-six seed in the Western Conference standings.

Despite starting strong, Westbrook finished with only 14 points, but he had several instances where he taunted James by pointing back at him after making jumpers over him.

Westbrook was also able to take advantage of a turnover by James towards the end of the third quarter, where he threw a bullet pass right into the Clippers bench and into the hands of Westbrook, who proceeded to clown on him once again.

The Clippers now hold the same record as the Golden State Warriors, with the tiebreaker against them, keeping them ahead for the fifth-seed in the West playoff race.

On the other hand, the Lakers find themselves at risk of falling to a potential 7-8 matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans in the play-in tournament, with a lot still up for grabs in the last few days of the regular season.

Photo: Bronny James / Instagram   The Los Angeles Lakers, known for their legendary players and rich history, have made headlines again. Bronny and LeBron became the first father-son duo to play for the same NBA team. While Bronny’s time on the court is just beginning, he’s breaking records off the court. His jersey sales have skyrocketed , setting a new Lakers record that even the biggest stars couldn’t reach. After Bronny’s draft, over 500,000 of his jerseys sold, each priced at around $100.
