Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, two influential figures in the tech industry, have seemingly agreed to engage in a physical battle inside the UFC Octagon, according to Dana White, the President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Despite many assuming it was merely a playful exchange on social media, White insists that both billionaires are "absolutely dead serious" about the idea. White revealed that he had spoken with both Musk and Zuckerberg, who expressed their genuine interest in participating.

The UFC President explained that Zuckerberg initiated the conversation by contacting him to verify Musk's seriousness. White then reached out to Musk, who confirmed his intention to participate.

If this highly anticipated matchup were to occur, White believes it would generate an unprecedented amount of money, potentially breaking all pay-per-view records. Furthermore, he expects the event to raise hundreds of millions of dollars for charitable causes, emphasizing that the fight would captivate not only combat sports enthusiasts but also a wider audience.

In terms of their combat backgrounds, Zuckerberg practices Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ), while Musk has experience in martial arts and BJJ, having been involved in numerous altercations during his upbringing in South Africa.

The origins of this potential showdown can be traced back to a Twitter exchange where Musk and others commented on Meta's rumored development of a Twitter-like application that would rival the platform.

When a user cautioned Musk about Zuckerberg's BJJ skills, Musk boldly stated his willingness to step into the cage with him. Zuckerberg, in response, playfully referenced Khabib Nurmagomedov, a renowned UFC fighter, with the phrase "Send Me Location" on Instagram.

The prospect of seeing two tech industry giants duke it out has ignited considerable interest among the public, with White asserting that it would surpass the magnitude of the Floyd Mayweather versus Conor McGregor fight, which was previously regarded as the biggest bout in history.

White's enthusiasm for the potential matchup stems from the belief that it would attract a massive global audience, transcending the boundaries of traditional fighting fans.
