Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon is facing an indefinite absence from the team due to injuries sustained from a dog bite on Christmas Day.

Gordon, known for his high-flying plays, suffered cuts to his hand and face, forcing him to be sidelined for an undetermined period. The team confirmed the incident and stated that updates on his condition will be provided as necessary.

In the Christmas Day game against the Golden State Warriors, Gordon showcased his impact, contributing 16 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists.

However, the aftermath of the dog bites has left him unavailable for the upcoming games. The Nuggets, set to host the Memphis Grizzlies on Dec. 27, will need to navigate through a series of matches without Gordon's on-court presence.

This setback may prompt adjustments in the team's lineup, with fourth-year big man Zeke Nnaji potentially assuming a more significant role.

Additionally, talented forward Michael Porter Jr. could see increased minutes in the frontcourt. As the Nuggets face challenges in Gordon's absence, fans await updates on his recovery and the team's strategy moving forward.

Stay tuned for further developments on Aaron Gordon's condition and the Denver Nuggets' lineup adjustments as they embark on a series of games without their high-flying forward. (Source: NBA)
