Former TIGERTAILZ drummer Ace Finchum has passed away at the age of 62, according to Metal Sludge.
The sad news was shared by his former bandmate Steevi Jaimz, who posted a heartfelt message on Facebook confirming Finchum’s death over the weekend.
Jaimz expressed his sorrow and sent condolences to Finchum’s family and friends.
Finchum had been living in the United States in recent years.
He was part of the classic TIGERTAILZ lineup with Jaimz, bassist Pepsi Tate, and guitarist Jay Pepper.
Finchum played drums on the band’s first three albums, Young & Crazy (1987), Bezerk (1990), and Banzai! (1991).
Pepsi Tate passed away from cancer in 2007.
TIGERTAILZ, from Cardiff, Wales, gained fame in the late ’80s for their glam metal sound and energetic style, standing out among bands like MÖTLEY CRÜE and POISON.
