Country singer Jelly Roll once feared for his life every night as he battled severe health issues, his health coach Gary Brecka revealed.
Speaking on the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast, Brecka said the singer, who once weighed over 500 pounds, reached out on social media asking if he helped “fat people.”
Jelly Roll told him he had to sleep wedged between pillows to avoid suffocating and kept his car radio loud to drown out the sound of his own wheezing.
Brecka said he and his team flew to Los Angeles to meet the singer, then traveled with him to Las Vegas to run medical tests.
On the plane, Brecka said it was heartbreaking to see how much Jelly Roll struggled to fit in his seat.
The coach shared that Jelly Roll would thank God every morning just for waking up alive.
