Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx praised singer Vince Neil for returning to the stage after suffering a stroke last Christmas.
In an interview on Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk on November 25, Sixx said he was proud of Neil’s courage to perform again.
He shared that the band was unsure if Neil would recover but said the singer worked hard to regain his strength.
Neil had to relearn how to walk after the stroke and spent months in rehab before performing again.
Sixx said Neil’s comeback at their Las Vegas shows felt emotional for the band. Guitarist John 5 also praised Neil, calling his recovery and singing “amazing.”
Mötley Crüe will celebrate their 45th anniversary with The Return of Carnival of Sins tour, kicking off July 17, 2026, in Pennsylvania.
The tour will include support from Tesla and Extreme.
