Josh Homme Brings ‘Alive In The Catacombs’ Film And Q&A To Palm Springs

Photo: Josh Homme / Instagram   Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme is returning to his roots with a special screening of Alive in the Catacombs at the Plaza Theatre in Palm Springs on Dec. 9.  The concert film, shot in the Catacombs of Paris, shows the band performing reworked versions of their songs with a symphony, mixing heavy and soft sounds.  The event will also feature a behind-the-scenes documentary and a live Q&A with Homme.  Photo: Josh Homme / Instagram The Plaza Theatre holds a special place in Homme’s heart, as it was where he often watched movies growing up.  In 2022, he helped raise funds to restore the venue through the Rock the Plaza benefit concert.  Homme said he’s proud to see more music venues thriving in the desert, where his career first began with Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age.  The Palm Springs screening marks one of Homme’s few local appearances in recent years.  He also hinted that the Catacombs tour may ...

Scott Weiland’s Unreleased Song ‘If I Could Fly’ Drops On 10th Anniversary of His Death

Photo: Scott Weiland / Instagram   To mark ten years since Scott Weiland’s passing, a never-before-heard song titled “If I Could Fly”  has been released today on all digital streaming platforms via Primary Wave/Virgin.  The song was written in 2000 after the birth of his son and shows a deeply personal side of the late STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and VELVET REVOLVER frontman.  This is the first unreleased song from Weiland’s archive to surface since his death.  Photo: Scott Weiland / Instagram The track highlights the emotion and honesty that made Scott one of rock’s most unique voices. Sons of KISS Icons Launch New Duo STANLEY SIMMONS With Debut Single “Body Down”

Photo: Evan Stanley, Nick Simmons / Instagram Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons, sons of KISS legends Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, have teamed up for a new music project called STANLEY SIMMONS.   Their debut single, “ Body Down ,” comes out on December 5 .  The duo told KTLA  that their sound is inspired by Americana and folk music , not their fathers’ rock style. Simple Plan Announce 2026 UK And Europe Arena Tour

Twenty One Pilots To Headline All Points East 2026

Aerosmith Makes Billboard History With ‘One More Time’ EP

All Time Low Rocks NYC With High-Energy, Fan-Loved Shows

Photo: All Time Low / Instagram   All Time Low took over New York City for two nights at the Hammerstein Ballroom, leaving fans amazed with their new tour.  The band mixed old hits like "Remembering Sunday" with new songs from their album Everyone’s Talking.  Fans joined mosh pits and crowd surfed safely, with lead singer Alex Gaskarth keeping the crowd in check.  Photo: All Time Low / Instagram Alex also performed all guest parts live, including verses from blackbear and Juliet Simms, showing off his full range.  Guitarist Jack Barakat and drummer Rian Dawson brought high energy, with Rian getting a drum solo and Jack moving across the stage like in 2009.  The band’s humor and stage banter reminded fans of their early pop-punk days. Keanu Reeves’s Dogstar Announces 2026 European Tour

LINKIN PARK’s Dave ‘Phoenix’ Farrell Says Comeback Has Been A Success

Biffy Clyro Explore Garage And Country Rock Sounds

Photo: Biffy Clyro / Instagram   Biffy Clyro are exploring new sounds after releasing their 10th studio album Futique  in September.  Frontman Simon Neil revealed he’s been writing songs that mix garage rock and country rock styles.  He said the new tracks feel “much less Biffy” and give the band more freedom to experiment.  Photo: Biffy Clyro / Instagram Neil added that these songs are looser and highlight the group’s eccentric side.  He also shared that one of the tracks might be the best country rock song he’s ever written.  The band hasn’t confirmed if the songs will appear on their next album or EP, but Neil hopes for a full record.  He plans to work again with producer Jonathan Gilmore to finish the songs next year.  Neil said making Futique  showed him that Biffy Clyro still have plenty of creativity and energy left. Brian Burkheiser Drops Taylor Swift Cover After I PREVAIL Exit

The Cranberries Honor Late Singer Dolores O’Riordan As Their Classic Album Rises Again

Photo: The Cranberries / Instagram   Irish rock band The Cranberries  are back in the spotlight after a sudden rise in popularity.  On November 7 , the group released their 1994 MTV Unplugged  concert as an album for the first time, landing at No. 8 on the Billboard Vinyl Chart .  Just days later, they received the Rolling Stone UK Icon Award , celebrating their lasting mark on music.  Photo: Dolores O’Riordan / Instagram   In a heartfelt Instagram post on November 26 , the band thanked fans and reflected on how far their songs have come.  They also paid tribute to Dolores O’Riordan , their late vocalist who passed away in 2018  at age 46.  “We have no doubt Dolores would be smiling down on it all,” the band wrote.  Fans filled the comments with love and memories of the singer.  The Cranberries’ final album, released in 2019 , featured O’Riordan’s vocals as a lasting gift to listeners.
